The method comprises the steps of seeding and growing seedlings according to local normal sowing time of different areas, and performing hole tray seeding or broadcast sowing; planting the seedlings in a field when each seedling has four leaves and one core in about one month after seeding; and completely shearing tops and top ends of all primary branches when the buds just appear at the top ends of the China aster. Through the treatment, a larger number of flowers can grow out at the positions of axils of the primary branches, the size of each scape is one third or a half of a normal scape, most of the flowers are semidouble, the length of each petal is about one third of the length of a normal petal, and fructification conditions are good. Through the method, a larger number of small semidouble flowers can grow out at the positions of the axils of the primary branches, stamens are exposed outside, pollination by insects is not influenced, the fructification conditions are good, and the seed yield is improved by over 6 times.
