The method includes: acquiring one or more segmentation marks, a segmentation shape mark and a segmentation direction mark for a current prediction unit from a compressed code flow of video images; finally segmenting the current prediction unit into a plurality of square transformation units or a plurality of rectangular transformation units according to the acquired one or more segmentation marks, the segmentation shape mark and the segmentation direction mark; and subjecting each square transformation unit in the multiple square transformation units obtained in final segmentation or each rectangular transformation unit in the multiple rectangular transformation units obtained in final segmentation to decoding procedures.
