Abstract

The invention relates to a fingerprint digital certificate-based electronic contract signing method, which comprises the following steps that: each party of a contract is registered in a certificate authority (CA), and takes a fingerprint characteristic as a password; the CA generates a pair of public and private keys, and generates a digital certificate by using the public key and an account; the CA confirms the identity of each party of the contract, and issues the private key and the digital certificate; each party of the contract passes fingerprint verification at a user terminal, calls the private key to digitally sign the electronic contract, and transmits the electronic contract to the CA; the CA decrypts the signed electronic contract by using the public key, and confirms the legal identity of each party of the contract; the CA implants the electronic signature of each party of the contract into the electronic contract, and transmits the electronic contract to the user terminal of each party of the contract; and each party of the contract acquires the electronic contract into which the electronic signature of each party of the contract after passing the fingerprint verification at the user terminal.
