Disclosed is a gas diffusing device (2) disposed inside a motor vehicle safety airbag, wherein the airbag (1) is inflated by a gas generator via the gas diffusing device (2), the gas diffusing device (2) has a fixed part (21) fastened on the airbag (1) and gas guiding part (22) disposed in the airbag (1). The gas diffusing device (2) is a cylindrical body; the fixed part (21), being one part of the cylindrical body of the diffusing device (2), is fastened by sewing to the airbag (1) by at least one thread (4), and the gas guiding part(22), being the other part of the cylindrical body, is a continuous face with no thread provided, such that the gas from the gas generator enters the airbag (1) along the gas guiding part (22) so as to inflate the airbag (1). The gas diffusing device (2) can sustain relatively high pressure without being damaged. In addition the diffusing device (2) can better handle the regulation of an inflation process for an airbag with multiple chambers.
