Abstract

The invention discloses a technology for making LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) from low-concentration coal bed gas through pressure swing adsorption and cryogenic liquefaction. The technology comprises the following steps of: (1) enrichment working procedure: to be specific, carrying out methane enrichment on the coal bed gas through a coal bed gas enrichment system, so that the content of methane in the coal bed gas is risen to 35-45% from 10-28%; (2) compression and purification working procedures: to be specific, compressing and purifying the coal bed gas obtained in the enrichment working procedure to obtain a purified coal bed gas; and (3) liquefaction and separation working procedures: to be specific, liquefying and separating a methane component in the coal bed gas to obtain a liquefied natural gas product. The enrichment working procedure is added in conventional working procedures, so that the content of methane is risen to 35-45% from 10-28%, and then the coal beg gas is concentrated, purified, liquefied and separated by using the compression and purification working procedures and the liquefaction and separation working procedures to obtain the natural gas product in the end. According to the method, the using range of the coal beg gas is widened, and the low-concentration coal bed gas with over 10% of methane can be purified to make the liquefied natural gas.
