Abstract

The invention discloses an additive for promoting postpartum recovery of a sow as well as a preparation method and application of the additive. The additive comprises the following traditional Chinese medicinal materials by weight: 20-60g of seed of cowherb, 9-20g of motherwort, 10-40g of dandelion, 10-30g of astragalus, 10-40g of Chinese angelica, 10-30g of hawthorn, 6-12g of houttuynia cordata, 5-15g of szechuan lovage rhizome, 8-15g of uniflower swisscentaury root and 1-2mg of VB1. The invention further discloses application of the additive in preparing a medicine for promoting the postpartum recovery of the sow.
