Embodiment Construction

[0028] figure 1 An exemplary embodiment of the securing system 10 of the present invention is shown. This fastening system 10 comprises an attachment 2 tightly connected to the surface of the vehicle 1 . The fastening system 10 also includes a base 3 which is part of the additional element 5 . The additional element 5 is a device for providing an indirect view, for example a side mirror of the vehicle 1 . The base 3 of the additional element 5 can be firmly connected with the reflector for the vehicle, and can also be connected with the vehicle through a latch. figure 2 The shown connector 2 is formed in the shape of a prism whose cross-section forms an equilateral hexagon, thus comprising six side surfaces 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F. The six side surfaces together form the cylindrical surface 2H of the connecting piece 2 .

[0029] The connecting element 2 bears against the vehicle 1 with its surface 2A. In this case, a groove shape is formed between the vehicle 1 and th...

Abstract

The invention relates to a fastening system for add-on parts on vehicles that allows add-on parts (5) on vehicles (1) to be easily installed and removed. The invention further relates to a vehicle (1) provided with such a fastening system. The fastening system comprises a connection part (2), which lies against the vehicle (1), and a base (3), which is connected to the add-on part (5). The connection part (2) is designed as a profiled element, the outer surface (2h) of the exterior of which corresponds at least in some sections to the outer surface of a prism having the base of a regular polygon having at least one interior angle deviating from 90 DEG. The base (3) comprises a trapezoidal groove (3a) having leg surfaces (3d, 3e) that are arranged at an angle from each other and that are connected to each other by a base surface (3f). The two leg surfaces (3d, 3e) lie flush against two lateral surfaces (2d, 2e) of the connection part (2) that are not directly adjacent to each other. A hole (3b) extends through the base (3) symmetrically with respect to the groove (3a) and centrally through the base surface (3f). The connection part (2) has a receptacle (2g), in which a connecting element (4) engages, wherein said connecting element is inserted through an opening (3b) in the base (3).

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a fastening system for intimately integrating an add-on element to a vehicle. Furthermore, the invention relates to a vehicle comprising a device for indirect viewing which is arranged on the vehicle with such a fastening system. Background technique [0002] It is known in the past to screw the base of the add-on element directly to the vehicle. It is also known to attach the base of the add-on element directly to the vehicle, either by welding or otherwise by gluing. [0003] The disadvantage of screwing the base of the element directly to the vehicle is that expensive equipment must be provided on the vehicle. For example on a vehicle the necessary threads must be provided to secure the screws. If you want to get a no-shake, zero-gap positioning, you also need to make a precise shape fit on the contact surface of the vehicle, the base and the additional components to be fixed. [0004] The disadvantage of attaching the b...
