Abstract

The invention relates to a fan state online monitoring system and method based on an advanced reduced instruction-set computer machine (ARM) and the ZigBee. Online monitoring of the fan operation state is achieved by collecting temperature, vibration parameters, negative pressure and power parameters of a fan. A ZigBee sensor network is used for collecting and transmitting data, and an embedded ARM platform is used for displaying and processing the data. A terminal device of the sensor network is divided into a temperature collection module, a transmitter signal collection module and a communication module. State data collected by the modules are transmitted to a ZigBee coordinator directly or through a router, and the data are transmitted to the embedded ARM platform through the coordinator. Measuring data are read in monitoring software written on the embedded ARM platform, the fan operation state data are displayed through a liquid crystal display (LCD) touch screen, state data and abnormal alarming data are stored through a security digital (SD) card, and a voice frequency module is used for conducting alarming on the operation state exceeding a threshold.
