The uplink synchronization handling method comprises the following steps: an uplink synchronization indication message sent by the base station is revived, wherein the uplink synchronization indication message carries the identification information of one or more newly configured CCs (Component Carriers); if the information that the newly configured CCs belong to a CC group different from that of CCs used at prevent is acquired according to the identification information of the CCs, uplink synchronization is performed to the newly configured CCs, wherein the CC group comprises one or more CCs which share the same TA (Time Advanced). According to the invention, the UE (User Equipment) can achieve uplink synchronization with the newly configured CCs when the base station needs to configure new CCs for the UE or CCs (or a CC) used by the UE at present are needed to be replaced with the newly configured CCs.
