Abstract

According to the invention, the method for verifying effectiveness of the code word can comprise the following steps: determining summation of path measurement difference of all nodes in a survival path for aiming at input code words; determining a signal quality index which corresponds with the input code word; and based on summation of the path measurement differences and the signal quality index, determining the effectiveness of the code words after decoding of the input code word. According to the method and equipment, the effectiveness of the code word is determined by means of the summation of the path measurement differences and the signal quality index. Not only is effect by signal fluctuation eliminated, but also better verifying performance can be realized.
