Abstract

The invention provides an identification method of a traditional Chinese medicine heart calming and mind tranquilizing preparation, and belongs to the field of drug quality control. The identification method comprises thin-layer identifications of grass-leaved sweetflag rhizome, polygala root and red sage root, has the characteristics of strong specificity, rapidness and convenient operation, overcomes the shortage of incomprehensiveness of conventional detection methods of heart calming and mind tranquilizing capsules, and thus the product quality of the drugs can be effectively controlled. Through clinical observation of 440 patients in clinic, it has been shown by the cure results that the symptoms, which are caused by climacteric syndrome and neurasthenia, such as vexation and sleeplessness, dreaminess, restless sleep, dizziness and tinnitus, dry mouth and pharynx, dysphoria in chestpalms-soles, palpitation and sweating, and amnesia, are prominently improved after the patients of the curing group have been cured with the drugs. The heart calming and mind tranquilizing capsule can prominently improve the clinical symptoms caused by climacteric syndrome and neurasthenia, and has a good clinical curative effect. The cure rate, effective-showing rate and effective rate of the curing group are 56.67%, 18.75% and 15.42%, and the total effective rate is 90.83%. No prominent adverse drug reaction or toxic and side effect has been found after taking the drug, so the drug is safe and reliable in clinic usage.
