Abstract

One pressed main support foil is in a shape with two short sides and wide middle; similar beam structure of the main foil allows the rigidity in the middle of the bearing to be higher, and the other auxiliary foil can be filled in gaps between the main foil and provides auxiliary support for the end part of the bearing. The axial rigidity characteristic of the bearing can be changed conveniently by changing parameters such as change rules of heights, shapes and widths of the bulges of the foil in an axial direction, the deformation at the middle part of the bearing is reduced, and the carrying capacity of the bearing is improved.
