The mobile terminal positioning method comprises the steps of determining a source cell where a mobile terminal to be positioned is currently located; acquiring the sector orientation of the source cell, and acquiring a first direction of arrival (DoA) of the mobile terminal in the source cell according to uplink sounding reference signals which are sent to the source cell by the mobile terminal; acquiring reference signal received powers of a plurality of cells adjacent to the source cell, and determining that a cell with the strongest received power among the reference signal received powers is a target cell; acquiring the sector orientation of the target cell, and acquiring a second DoA of the mobile terminal in the target cell according to uplink sounding reference signals which are sent to the target cell by the mobile terminal; positioning the mobile terminal according to the first DoA, the second DoA, the sector orientation of the source cell and the sector orientation of the target cell.
