AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This patented technology allows for reuse when treating wastewater without affecting its quality. It uses an anti-bacteric substance called Graphene Oxide with Benzoyl Bromo Acid/Benzalkoniumsulfonic acid mixed together. By mixing this mixture into small particles like pills, these materials gradually releasing their medication over time. These tiny objects are easily recovered from spent treated waters while still containing any harmful chemicals found therein.

Problems solved by technology

This patents discuss various technical solutions related to improving the performance or usable life of different types of products like coatings, paints, plasma generators, antiwear coats, etc., especially those containing nanopores. Current attempts at producing these composites involve complex processes involving multiple steps, resulting in potential contaminated waste streams after production. There remains a challenge towards developing efficient ways to produce 3D structures without causing damage during their reuse.

Embodiment 1

[0051] (1) Prepare benzalkonium bromide solution with a mass concentration of 50 mg / mL;

[0052] (2) Prepare a graphene oxide (GO) aqueous solution with a concentration of 4 mg / mL, and the pH is about 0.74;

[0053] (3) Take 1 mL, 4 mg / mL GO solution, and quickly add it to a test tube containing 200 μL benzalkonium bromide solution of the corresponding concentration to obtain a brown benzalkonium bromide / graphene oxide antibacterial gel.

[0054] The prepared brown benzalkonium bromide / graphene oxide gel was as figure 2 As shown in figure a. Obviously, from the appearance point of view, a brown gel was prepared, that is, graphene oxide was not reduced. From left to right, the concentrations of benzalkonium bromide are 50mg / mL, 30mg / mL, and 10mg / mL. This can be compared with the antibacterial gel with dopamine added. The antibacterial gel with dopamine added is black because of the self-polymerization and reduction properties of dopamine itself, and the graphene oxide is re...

[0064] The prepared brown benzalkonium bromide / graphene oxide gel was as figure 2 As shown in figure b.

Embodiment 3

[0066] (1) Prepare benzalkonium bromide solution with a mass concentration of 10 mg / mL;

[0067] (2) Prepare a graphene oxide (GO) aqueous solution with a concentration of 4 mg / mL, and the pH is about 0.74;

[0068] (3) Take 1 mL, 4 mg / mL GO solution, and add it to a test tube containing 200 μL benzalkonium bromide solution of the corresponding concentration to obtain a brown benzalkonium bromide / graphene oxide antibacterial gel.

[0069] The prepared brown benzalkonium bromide / graphene oxide gel was as figure 2 As shown in Figure c.

Abstract

The invention discloses compound antibacterial gel. The compound antibacterial gel is formed by mainly compounding benzalkonium bromide or benzalkonium chloride and oxidized graphene, wherein the weight ratio of the benzalkonium bromide or the benzalkonium chloride to the oxidized graphene is 1-10:2-6. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the compound antibacterial gel and applications of the compound antibacterial gel. The preparation method is simple. Characteristics of the benzalkonium bromide and the oxidized graphene are combined, and disadvantages that the benzalkonium bromide and the oxidized graphene individually are not antibacterial in a wide range at a certain concentration and are not easily recovered are remedied. The compound antibacterial gel has antibacterial activity for Gram-negative bacterium and Gram-positive bacterium simultaneously, and can be applied widely.
