Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a device for breakpoint resuming of cloud storage files. The device comprises a data transmission module, a data summary calculation module, a block storage module, a file table and a file-data-block relation table. The data transmission module receives and processes requests sent by a client side. The data summary calculation module calculates a summary of uploaded portions of new files according to a summary of uploaded portions of files in the file table and newly-uploaded data blocks received by the data transmission module, and stores the summary of the uploaded portions of the new files into the file table. The block storage module is used for storing data blocks of the storage files. The file-data-block relation table stores corresponding relations between files in the block storage module and all data blocks uploaded by the files. Therefore, by the method and the device, uploading efficiency of the cloud storage files can be remarkably improved.
