A cross rod is arranged at the tail end of the net frame and provided with a hook. When the tool for catching the floating objects on the water surface is used, the inner net is connected to the outer net; during catching, small-diameter floating objects can penetrate through the inner net and be intercepted by the outer net, large-diameter floating objects are directly intercepted by the inner net, and accordingly catching efficiency is improved due to double-net synergistic effect; meanwhile, the hook arranged on the cross rod at the tail end of the net frame can be used for hanging large-scale floating objects, and therefore the utilization ratio is improved, and the floating objects different in size can be effectively caught.
