Abstract

The invention discloses a method for analyzing no response of a network side to a measurement report event. The method includes: UE measures parameters of a plurality of base stations; whether specific parameters obtained through measurement of specific base stations from the plurality of base stations comply with an initial triggering condition of a specific measurement report event is judged; before receiving a replying message from the network side, the UE continuously reports the specific measurement report to the network side and records moving information every time the specific measurement report event is reported; and when the UE reports the specific measurement report event continuously for a time which exceeds a preset time, the UE analyses the moving information so as to provide information that the network side does not respond to the specific measurement report event. The method for analyzing no response of the network side to the measurement report event enables a user to know that the reasons for call drop are that a handover failure is caused because the network side is incapable of responding to the specific measurement report event.
