The brake mechanism comprises an installation rod, a driving piece, a brake piece, a clamping piece, an elastic piece and an operating piece, wherein the installation rod is sleeved with the driving piece, the brake piece, the clamping piece and the elastic piece. The brake piece and the driving piece are provided with a first matching position and a second matching position. The clamping piece extends to the wheel. The elastic piece can elastically drive the brake piece to be matched with the driving piece, and elastically drive the brake piece and the clamping piece to abut against each other. The operating piece is arranged on one of the brake piece and the driving piece and rotates to drive the brake piece and the driving piece to be switched to be located at the first matching position or the second matching position, and therefore the clamping piece can brake or release the wheel.
