Abstract

An embodiment of the present invention provides an overcurrent protection circuit and a power supply thereof. The overcurrent protection circuit includes a converter, a proportional resistance element, and an auxiliary switch element. The converter couples the current transmission path of the main switching element to correspondingly generate a slave current according to the main current in the current transmission path. The proportional resistance element is electrically connected to the converter, and generates a first voltage signal according to the slave current. The auxiliary switch element is electrically connected to the proportional resistance element and is controlled by the first voltage signal to selectively control the main switch element to be turned on or off.
