Abstract

The invention discloses a traditional Chinese medicine preparation for treating kidney yin depletion type chronic tonsillitis. According to traditional Chinese medicine treatment based on syndrome differentiation, kidney yin depletion type chronic tonsillitis is suitable to be treated by warming the kidney, strengthening yang-qi, nourishing yin to lessen fire and clearing the throat. The preparation adopts traditional Chinese medicines such as hypoxis aurea, rhizoma alismatis seed, satyrium root, myrobalan, pyrrosia lingua, diospyros lotus, root of sericeous creeping cinquefoil, watermelon seed, daphne odora flower and root of silverleaf cinquefoil which are boiled in water into decoction. Clinical application shows that the total effective rate of the preparation can be 93.3%, which is remarkably superior to that of a control group, and moreover the preparation is low in treatment cost, simple and convenient in method and worthy of clinical popularization and application.
