Abstract

The invention relates to a vehicle detector for a parking-lot barrier gate. The vehicle detector comprises a power module, a microprocessor module, an output control module and a three-axis magnetoresistive sensor module. The three-axis magnetoresistive sensor module and the output control module are respectively connected with the microprocessor module. The power module is respectively connected with the microprocessor module, the output control module and the three-axis magnetoresistive sensor module, and provides required voltage and currents to the microprocessor module, the output control module and the three-axis magnetoresistive sensor module. The three-axis magnetoresistive sensor module is used for sensing geomagnetic variations caused by passing vehicles, converting the variations into electric signals, and transmitting the electric signals to the microprocessor module. The microprocessor module is used for calculating and judging the received electric signals, and sending judgment results to the output control module. The output control module is connected with the parking-lot barrier gate and controls actions of the parking-lot barrier gate.
