Embodiment Construction

[0038] Figure 1A is an illustration of an example communication system 100 in which one or more disclosed embodiments may be implemented. Communication system 100 may be a multiple access system that provides content, such as voice, data, video, messaging, broadcast, etc., to multiple wireless users. The communication system 100 can enable multiple wireless users to access the content through the sharing of system resources (including wireless bandwidth). For example, communication system 100 may use one or more channel access methods such as Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA), Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA), Orthogonal FDMA (OFDMA), Single Carrier FDMA (SC-FDMA) and so on.

[0039] Such as Figure 1A As shown, communication system 100 may include wireless transmit / receive units (WTRUs) 102a, 102b, 102c, 102d, radio access network (RAN) 104, core network 106, public switched telephone network (PSTN) 108, Internet 110, and ot...

Abstract

A reduced bandwidth (eg, reduced PDCCH, 1106 ) for control information transmitted / received over the wireless network is determined. The reduced bandwidth (eg reduced PDCCH) can be used to avoid interference that can be detected from adjacent channels (eg TVWS or non-cellular channels of radar channels). The reduced bandwidth can be used to transmit or receive control information on cellular (eg LTE) or Wi-Fi channels (eg PDCCH, PCFICH, PHICH, PBCH channels). The eNB or access point (AP) may signal to a wireless transmit / receive unit (WTRU) information associated with the reduced control channel (eg, adjacent channel information), such as the location and / or power of the channel in the frequency band. Control channels (eg, PDCCH) may be shifted to avoid changes in interference.

Description

[0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This application claims the benefit of US Provisional Application 61 / 585,587, filed January 11, 2012, the contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference in their entirety. Background technique [0003] In a wireless communication network (such as O0). The frequency bands over which these wireless communications may be transmitted may be shared with or adjacent to other frequency bands over which wireless communications may be performed. Since these other wireless communications may be transmitted on the same or similar frequency bands, they may cause interference. [0004] In an example, such interference may be caused when a cellular or Wi-Fi network is operating over television white space (TVWS). Since a cellular or Wi-Fi network can operate on an allowed frequency band and other wireless communications can be performed on the same frequency band or on a frequency band in close proximity (e.g., an adjacent f...
