Abstract

The invention discloses a general wheel location detecting set and detecting method thereof. The general wheel location detecting set comprises two racks being symmetrical at the left and right sides; the lower part of the rack is the pedestal while the upper part is the turntable, a sphere wheel is arranged at the bottom of the turntable and two rollers are arranged on the turntable, and the driven roller has no power and is provided with a composite bearing capable of rotating and moving in axial direction at each end, a force sensor is arranged at the outer shaft end of the driven roller in a matching mode for detecting the yawing force of the wheel, a steering angle measuring device is arranged at the outer side of the pedestal for detecting the steering angle of the wheel, a dip angle measuring device is arranged on the column at the outer side of the turntable, a lifting mechanism is formed on the pedestal, a roller braking mechanism is arranged below the driven roller. The general wheel location detecting set and detecting method thereof can detect the vehicles with a variety of models and have the advantages of good universality, high detecting precision, good repeatability, lower cost, high cost performance, convenient use and easy promotion.
