Abstract

The invention discloses a method, a device and a server for operating databases, and belongs to the field of databases. The method includes receiving requests of application programs for invoking unified API (application program interfaces) in mapping tools; determining certain databases and data tables in the databases according to preliminarily configured corresponding relations; invoking certain database scripts among n database scripts corresponding to the invoked unified API and operating data of the data tables. The certain databases correspond to objects. The data tables in the databases correspond to the objects. The certain database scripts correspond to the databases. The method, the device and the server have the advantages that the problem that the data need to be operated by the aid of database scripts which are greatly different from one another when different non-relational databases are operated can be solved; operators can operate the data in the different non-relational databases by the aid of the unified API without understanding or writing large quantities of execution scripts when the non-relational databases are operated, accordingly, development workload can be reduced, coupling between the application programs and the non-relational databases can be lowered, and the development efficiency can be improved.
