Abstract

The adjustable-diameter device is applicable to machining of outer cylindrical surfaces of outer-cylindrical-surface workpieces with central angles smaller than 180 degrees, and comprises a mandrel and a clamping body. Two ends of the mandrel are provided with two cylinders respectively, the end face of each cylinder is provided with a center hole, a mandrel body is arranged in the middle of the mandrel and provided with a rectangular through groove axially perpendicular to the mandrel, and the clamping body is inserted into the rectangular through hole. The end face of the mandrel body is provided with an elongated hole in the same direction as the rectangular through groove, the clamping body is provided with a threaded hole, a workpiece is positioned and clamped on the clamping body, and the clamping body is fixedly locked onto the mandrel by the aid of a screw which penetrates through the elongated hole of the mandrel body and the threaded hole of the clamping body.
