Abstract

The invention provides a dynamic power consumption evaluation method for a radio frequency front end of a mobile terminal in an LTE system. The method includes the steps that the energy consumption corresponding to the radio frequency front end is calculated in the modulation modes of QPSK, 16QAM and 64QAM adopted by an up link in the LTE system; in the energy consumption modeling process, the influence of the signal peak-to-average ratio (PAR) caused by the modulation series and roll-off factors together on the energy consumption of the radio frequency front end is considered comprehensively, and meanwhile a fading channel is selected to be closer to the practical situation; a simulation experiment is completed under a MATLAB platform, and energy consumption can be evaluated according to the simulation result. According to the method, the relevant parameters of the LTE communication system are related to the energy consumption of the radio frequency front end, and under certain channel quality, the terminal can achieve low energy consumption on the premise that the requirement for a certain error rate is met by selecting the best modulation mode and the roll-off factor of a raised cosine FIR filter.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of mobile communication, and relates to a method for evaluating dynamic power consumption of a radio frequency front end of a mobile terminal in an LTE system. Background technique [0002] The rapid development of various emerging services and higher data transmission rates in the Long Term Evolution (LTE) system has led to increased energy consumption of mobile terminals. Mobile terminals are usually powered by batteries. Due to the very limited capacity of batteries, the increase in energy consumption of the terminals lags behind the increase in power consumption of the terminals, and the terminals are not always plugged in. Therefore, how to reduce the battery energy consumption of mobile terminals and extend the battery life is becoming increasingly difficult. become a hot research topic. Reducing the energy consumption of mobile terminals can not only reduce carbon dioxide emissions, but also prolong ...
