The application comprises the following steps: collecting 50 cases of resistant hypertension patients and randomly dividing into two groups, namely an acupuncture combined antihypertensive drug group and a pure application antihypertensive drug group; and treating the acupuncture combined antihypertensive drug group and the pure application antihypertensive drug group, and carrying out curative effect treatment on treated result. The acupuncture of the Susanli acupuncture point and the antihypertensive drug treatment groups are combined so that the curative effect is obvious; the effect and the effectiveness rate are better than that of the pure application antihypertensive drug treatment group, and the acupuncture of the Susanli acupuncture point has very great influences on the heart rate variability of the hypertension patients.
