Abstract

The present invention discloses a female connector and a quick connector with the same. The female connector is used for locking a male connector. The female connector comprises a hollow casing for accommodating the male connector, and further comprises a locking device. The locking device comprises a tightening ring annularly arranged in the casing, and a locking assembly arranged outside the casing. The tightening ring is connected with the locking assembly through an opening formed in a side wall of the casing. The locking assembly is used for controlling tightening and loosening of the tightening ring. According to the female connector and the quick connector with the same, which are disclosed by the present invention, a line-contact locking manner is implemented by using the locking device, and compared with a conventionally used point-contact locking manner, increases a locking contact area, reduces wear and tear, and prolongs a service life.
