Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides an off-axis virtual camera parameter determination method and system. By employing the method and the system, a scene depth map of each video frame can be extracted from a depth buffer area; the minimum value of edge depth values of the scene depth map is determined as the scene edge closest depth of each video frame; the depth of a first object is determined as the attention object depth of each video frame; the smaller value between the scene edge closest depth and the attention object depth serves as the zero parallax value; and a zero parallax value sequence composed of the zero parallax values of all the video frames can be obtained. According to the invention, the zero parallax value of each video frame can be automatically determined without manual setting, so that influence by factors such as insufficient experience is avoided, and workloads of technicians are reduced. Furthermore, on the premise that a window shielding problem does not occur, the zero parallax can approach an attention object as far as possible, so that the comfortableness can be guaranteed while the stereo perception can be improved as possible, and using effects of the determined zero parallax are guaranteed.
