Abstract

The embodiments of the present invention disclose a cache data control method. The cache data control method comprises the following steps: receiving a data access request sent by a source node by a node controller, wherein the data access request carries an access address and an access type; if the access type is a share request, querying whether a first directory entry of the access address exists in a first directory or not by the node controller, and determining that cache data corresponding to the access address are of an exclusive state if the first directory entry of the access address exists in the first directory; determining a target node where the cache data are located according to a storage location in the first directory entry; sending a first interception message to the target node by the node controller, wherein the first interception message is used for indicating the target node to return the cache data to the node controller; and returning the cache data to the source node by the node controller and deleting the first directory entry in the first directory. The embodiments of the present invention also disclose the node controller. By adopting the cache data control method and the node controller, the requirements of directories on storage space can be lowered.
