The single-event soft error reliability of the DSP software system is calculated by performing module partitioning on the DSP software system, creating topological relations among modules, searching all paths between starting modules and ending modules in the topological relations among the modules by using depth-first search, and extracting a plurality of paths with an importance sampling method.
