Abstract

The disclosure provides a method for transmitting cloud card. The method comprises the steps as follows: receiving a contact card transmitted by a first contact, wherein the contact card comprises unique identification of the cloud card; obtaining corresponding cloud card information from a cloud server according to the unique identification, wherein the cloud card information comprises multi-media card information set by a contact corresponding to the cloud card; and storing the obtained cloud card information to a local address book. According to the disclosure, the method realizes the condition that the card could carry more abundant multimedia card information in the process of transmitting the cards mutually by the contacts and the limitation of content size and type is not influenced in the transmitting process.
