The invention relates to application of long non-coding RNA (Ribonucleic Acid) uc.48+ small interfering RNA to preparation of medicine for treating DM (Diabetes Mellitus) and complications. In experiments, the conditions that the long non-coding RNA uc.48+ small interfering RNA can lower the raised blood sugar of a rat of a type 2 DM model and can improve the hepatic glycogen level are observed; and the GK (glucokinase) activity improvement is involved in the mechanism aspect. The long non-coding RNA uc.48+ small interfering RNA can also be applied to the preparation of medicine for treating GK function abnormity mediated diseases. The long non-coding RNA uc.48+ small interfering RNA can be used for preventing and treating the diseases as medicine in medicine preparations such as oral administration preparations, injection preparations, tablet preparations or other local or whole body available preparations.
Description
technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of the invention of the use of diabetes medicines. Background technique [0002] Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a group of metabolic clinical syndromes. With the development of society and the improvement of people's living standards, the prevalence of diabetes increases year by year. In developed countries, the prevalence of diabetes has reached 3%-7%. It has become the fourth priority disease after cancer, AIDS, and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and has become the fifth leading cause of death in the world. Diabetes is divided into type 1 (insulin-dependent) and type 2 (non-insulin-dependent) diabetes, whether it is type 1 (insulin-dependent) or type 2 (non-insulin-dependent) diabetes, the main symptom of which is hyperglycemia . Hyperglycemia is the leading cause of diabetes complications, and it is estimated that one in six people worldwide is at risk of developing diabetes complications. Type ...
