Embodiment Construction

[0052] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with specific embodiments and accompanying drawings.

[0053] Such as figure 1 As shown, a small target detection method on the sea surface based on the aerial image of the airborne infrared camera includes the following steps:

[0054] step 1:

[0055] First, intercept a target image from the video captured by the airborne infrared camera, such as figure 2 and Figure 6 As shown, define the target image as a function f(x,y).

[0056] Secondly, the edge information of the coastline in the target image f(x,y) is obtained through the image gradient algorithm, such as image 3 and Figure 7 As shown, the gradient of the target image f(x,y) at point (x,y) defined as:

[0057] ▿ f = g r a d ( f ) = g ...

Abstract

The invention relates to a sea surface small target detection method based on an airborne infrared camera aerially-photographed image and belongs to the technical field of target detection. The sea surface small target detection method based on the airborne infrared camera aerially-photographed image is characterized by in view of a characteristic that an infrared image aerially photographed by an airborne camera has coexisting sea surface and land and the sea surface has a clutter background, detecting a coast line by using a gradient detection method and Hough transform in order to segment the land and the sea surface; further, applying an adaptive background matching method based on a gray-level co-occurrence matrix to the sea surface, automatically establishing a template database from the pictures extracted onsite; performing template matching and difference operation based on sea clutter texture; and finally detecting a target by using automatic threshold segmentation technology. The method may effectively solve a problem that sea clutter interference appears in the sea image photographed by the airborne infrared camera and the sea surface and the land are uneasy to distinguish.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of target detection, in particular to a small target detection method on the sea surface based on an aerial image of an airborne infrared camera. Background technique [0002] Airborne infrared cameras are used in maritime search and rescue to find targets in time in video images. The sea surface target images it takes are quite different from those on land or satellites. It has the characteristics of infrared target size and shape are not fixed, the sea surface has clutter interference, sea surface and land are difficult to distinguish, etc., resulting in difficult detection and high false alarm rate. [0003] At present, there are many technical methods for sea clutter interference in sea surface infrared images, and the airspace background prediction method is one of them. That is, the infrared radiation of the image background has a strong correlation in the spatial distribution, but the small target a...
