Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of the television set, especially to a real-time rapid program classification method applied to a DTV system. The method comprises: obtaining current time; carrying out searching on an EIT table according to the obtained current time and obtaining all channel information in the current time period; storing the obtained channel information into a register; displaying a plurality of frequently-used detailed classified tags for selection by users; after selection of the detailed classified tags, starting an optimization algorithm by the system and carrying out intelligent screening, classification, and sorting on all channel information stored in the register; and after screening of the channel information meeting the classified tag conditions by the optimization algorithm, displaying the information at a user interface so as to carry out selection by the user and channel switching. In order to overcome defects existing in the traditional channel classification, the invention provides a real-time rapid program classification method. Therefore, when a television program is watched, back-and-forth switching of channels one by one is not required and the real-time rapid program classification is realized.
