Abstract

Embodiments of the invention provide a configuration method and apparatus for a DNS (domain name system) of a mobile device. The method comprises the steps of taking the mobile device as a WI-FI relay, and meanwhile connecting a wireless access node and an electronic device; determining state information of communication, relayed and forwarded by the mobile device, between the wireless access node and the electronic device; judging whether the communication is abnormal or not according to the state information; if so, detecting the network service provider of the mobile device; when the network service provider of the mobile device is detected, configuring a DNS list adapted with the network service provider; and configuring the DNS service for the mobile device according to the DNS list. According to the embodiments of the configuration method and apparatus, by obtaining the adaptive DNS list for configuration, the normal access of the network is ensured, and restart of the Wi-FI service or reconfiguration of the DNS service of the Wi-Fi is avoided.
