The invention discloses a method for worshipping the dead and a system for applying the method. The method comprises the following steps that a computer system receives an instruction, and the instruction appoints an action to be executed on a computer server to serve a request of a computing device; the computer system creates a temporary database for a subset with a data storage content; the computer system creates a data exchange platform, and the data exchange platform is used for operating the temporary database to carry out expectant commemoration operation when a service account of a user makes a request; the computer system translates the instruction to the commemoration operation; the computer system responds to a request for initiating a chat session between two or more chat accounts so as to initiate a chat session on the data exchange platform; the computer system monitors activity and chat session on the data exchange platform; the computer system displays information on the data exchange platform in a display window, wherein the display window displays activity of one or more accounts on the data exchange platform; and the computer system displays the information in the chat window in the display window, wherein the chat window displays the chat session between two or more users.
