By combining 'anchor + band + net'-based supporting and anchor beam-based supporting, entry deformation can be effectively controlled, and the entry can meet the production needs of next working face. Unit-support forepolings are adopted in the gob-side entry in front of the working face to provide support in advance, and the amount of entry surrounding rock is significantly reduced. Compared with supporting based on single props, the average deformation of the two sides is reduced by 566mm, the convergence of the roof and the floor is reduced by 767mm, and the amount of floor heaving is reduced by up to 473mm.
