Abstract

The invention discloses a system and method for testing a radio frequency power amplifier in a mobile terminal. The system is composed of a signal module, a computer, a single-chip microcomputer, a radio frequency power amplifier, and a testing unit. The signal module is used for generating an original signal that is not processed; the computer is used for downloading a compiled testing code to the single-chip microcomputer by a serial interface; the single-chip microcomputer is used for controlling the radio frequency power amplifier to carry out amplification processing on the original signal according to the testing code; and the testing unit is used for testing whether the original signal after the amplification processing reaches the strength for antenna transmission. Therefore, the radio frequency power amplifier is tested by a relatively simple and high-speed way and the testing efficiency of the radio frequency power amplifier is improved.
