Abstract

The invention provides a browsing position marking method and device. The method comprises the steps of detecting whether a browsing position marking request is received or not, wherein the browsing position marking request is used for requesting to mark a browsing position in a page in an application; if the browsing position marking request is received, recording the browsing position in a storage device on a terminal. According to the browsing position marking method and device, even if a user quits from the application or conducts cleaning on a buffer memory, the terminal can still obtain position information of the browsing position from the storage device when the user needs the position information, so that the browsing position of the page which is recorded before is positioned quickly, and user experience is promoted.
