The book carrying disc is controlled by a sidesway mechanism, an elevating mechanism, the rotary mechanism and a telescoping mechanism. The sidesway mechanism comprises a track. The track is parallel to a book placing surface of each bookshelf. A base plate is arranged below the book carrying disc. Rollers are arranged below the base plate. The elevating mechanism comprises a framework arranged on the base plate. An end portion of the framework is provided with a rope rolling drum. The rope rolling drum is provided with a groove used to position a steel wire rope. And the steel wire rope is rolled in the groove.
