Problems solved by technology

[0003] In order to test seals with anchoring feet, such as those often used in tunnel construction, it has previously been necessary to manufacture concrete specimens suitable only for the test purpose, in which the seal is anchored, which is very material, time consuming and cost
Another disadvantage is that concrete specimens adjusted specifically for the different seals have to be produced, so that corresponding molds have to be kept available for this purpose, e.g.
Knowledge of possible tests on test pieces made of concrete with T-joints or cross-joints can only be achieved at great cost and therefore not yet from a practical point of view

Embodiment Construction

[0028] figure 1 Depicted exemplarily and schematically is a part of a plate of an embodiment of a testing device according to the invention. figure 1 The upper lower part (B) shows a perspective view of a cutout from a plate 2 of an embodiment of the test device 1 according to the invention and the upper part (A) shows a cross section through this plate 2 . A recess 3 is introduced into the plate 2 , which can be produced, for example, from metal or even some suitable plastic, such as polyoxymethylene (POM), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or polyetheretherketone (PEEK). The recess 3 has inserted therein a set of plate elements 5 , 6 , 7 which are collectively configured such that the recess 3 is filled in such a way that given the set of plate elements 5 , 6 , 7 The shape of the groove 8 is adjusted for the base 32 of the chain-shaped sealing profile 9 with the anchoring foot 10 . To provide a clearer illustration, the seal 9 and the plate elements 5 , 6 , 7 have been partia...

Abstract

The present invention relates to a testing device for testing seals, in particular tubbing seals, which seals have at least one anchoring foot, to the use of said testing device and to a method for testing seals having at least one anchoring foot. The aim of the present invention is to make it easier to test this type of seal. To solve the problem of interest, one aspect of the invention provides a testing device for testing seals, in particular tubbing seals, which seal has at least one anchoring foot, wherein a) the testing device (1) comprises at least one first plate (2) having a first surface (4) having a first recess (3) and at least one second plate (12) having a second surface (14) having a second recess (13), wherein the surfaces (4, 14) of the plates (2, 12) are substantially at least partially opposite each other by their recesses (3, 13), and b) in both the first and the second recess (3, 13) at least two plate elements (5, 7; 15, 17) are detachably secured, said plate elements (5, 7; 15, 17) being designed in such a way that they imitate a groove (8, 18) in each of the recesses (3, 13) into which groove a seal (9, 19) having at least one anchoring foot (10) can be inserted in such a way that i) the seal (9, 19) is anchored by an interlocking engagement formed between the plate elements (5, 7; 15, 17) and the at least one anchoring foot (10), or ii) between the plate elements (5, 7; 15, 17) and the at least one anchoring foot (10) of the seal (9, 19) an intermediate space (20) is formed into which a curing or curable material (21) can be introduced, such that after curing of said material (21) the seal (9, 19) is anchored by an interlocking engagement formed between the plate elements (5, 7; 15, 17), the cured material (21) and the at least one anchoring foot (10).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a testing device for testing a seal having at least one anchoring foot, in particular a wellbore section seal, the use of the testing device, and a method for testing a seal having at least one anchoring foot. Background technique [0002] Testing devices for testing seals used in shaft or tunnel construction, such as sealing profiles for shaft wall segments, are basically known (see, for example, Schreyer, 2001,SealsofTubbingSegmentLiningswithSealingProfiles,见:StudiengesellschaftfürUnterirdischeVerkehrsanlagene.V.(STUVA)(GermanResearchOrganizationforUndergroundTransportation),Cologne(出版者),UndergroundConstruction2001,ResearchandPractice39,页142-149;Flath,T.等人,2005,STUVARecommendationfortheTestingandUseofSealingProfilesinTubbingSegmentLinings,TUNNEL8 / 2005;http: / / www.stuvatec.de / stuvatec-02_036.htm). [0003] In order to test seals with anchoring feet, such as those often used in tunnel construction, it has previously b...
