The invention provides a vehicle door capable of improving designability of a vehicle. The vehicle door (10) can be supported and swing via a hinge chain (45u) and can form a projecting part (80) projected out of the vehicle in a continuous way in a vehicle door width direction; the hinge chain (45u) is covered by one end of the projecting part (80) in the vehicle door width direction; and an operation prat (100), through which a user hand can be inserted for close and open operation of the vehicle door (10) is arranged on the other side of the projecting part (80) in the vehicle door with direction.
