Abstract

The invention provides a planet type rotational solution process crystal growth apparatus, comprising a growth container, a planet rotary water seal, a planet drive mechanism and a crystal tray. An output end of the planet drive mechanism is connected with the crystal tray through a supporting rod, and within the growth container the crystal tray is driven to auto-rotate and to planetarily revolve. In the invention, crystal is driven to auto-rotate and planetarily revolve independently by two motors, and the crystal can revolve at constant speed and positively or reversely auto-rotate in a periodic manner. Suitable crystal auto-rotation period and speed are selected, similarity of growth conditions of facets in the crystal growth process is maximally improved, and conical facets or cylindrical facets are kept uniform in growth rate. Compared with the purely crystal auto-rotation manner, the apparatus enables a solution to be more fully mixed, thus greatly improving the uniformity of concentration and temperature distribution in the solution; meanwhile, crystal deceleration, rotation stopping and severe fluctuation of solute supply in the accelerated auto-rotation process are eliminated.
