Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses an antenna control method and a mobile terminal, wherein the antenna control method is applied to the mobile terminal; and the mobile terminal comprises a pop-up antenna and an electric device connected with the pop-up antenna. The antenna control method comprises the following steps: detecting the signal strength received by the mobile terminal in a communication state in real time; judging whether the signal strength is greater than a preset first strength threshold value or not in real time; and if not, controlling the electric device to pop out the pop-up antenna. By means of the embodiment in the invention, when the mobile terminal is in the communication state and the received signal strength is relatively weak, the pop-up antenna is automatically popped out, such that the signal strength received by the mobile terminal is enhanced; therefore, the communication quality of the mobile terminal is improved; users are unnecessary to manually operate and carry an auxiliary antenna; and thus, the user experience can be effectively improved.
