Abstract

An apron conveyor comprises a head wheel driving assembly, an apron-chain assembly, a tail wheel tensioning assembly, a machine frame and a driving device. The apron-chain assembly comprises a traction chain, aprons and rolling wheels. The aprons are connected with the traction chain through bolts, and the rolling wheels are mounted on the outer side of the traction chain and connected with the aprons through bolts. The head wheel driving assembly drives the traction chain in the apron-chain assembly so as to drive the whole aprons to move along a longitudinal conveying centripetal line, the rolling wheels run along a rail fixed to the machine frame, and therefore conveying work is completed. The apron conveyor is simple in structure, convenient to operate and suitable for irregular materials due to the widened machine type. Blocking plates are added to prevent the irregular materials from scattering in the conveying process; the rolling wheels of the apron-chain assembly are only used as bearing components instead of force transmission components.
