Abstract

The apparatus comprises a pedestal, a rotary bench which is used for bearing a housing to be measured and is rotatable about self central axis, a post which is arranged on the pedestal and configured to be rotatably connected the pedestal at a first position, and an angle adjusting mechanism which is configured to adjust the angle of the column relative to the pedestal. One end of the angle adjusting mechanism is connected to the post, and the other end is connected to the pedestal at a second position. A first measuring arm and a second measuring arm, which can move along the longitudinal directions of the post, are arranged on the post, are equal in length and are provided with two range finding modules. An indirect measuring method is employed for measuring wall thickness. The apparatus allows automatic measuring the wall thickness of circular housings, the measuring accuracy and measuring efficiency are higher, and measuring blind areas are effectively minimized.
