Abstract

The invention provides a wireless local area network (WLAN) packet access method. The method comprises steps: when an AP receives intercepted hidden STAs reported by any STA at the current beacon frame interval, the times for each reported STA are recorded; after all STAs finish channel access and the beacon frame is transmitted next time, a former preset number of hidden STAs with the maximum recorded times are deleted from an STA group to which the STAs belong; when the beacon frame is transmitted next time, an access time window allocated for each current STA group is carried in the beacon frame, and thus, each STA is accessed to the channel in the time window allocated for the STA group to which the STA belongs and the hidden STAs are intercepted in the STA group. Based on the same concept, the invention also provides a wireless local area network packet access device. According to the method and the device of the invention, the collision probability of the STAs in the WLAN in the access process can be reduced, and interference between the STAs is effectively restrained.
