The betweennness calculation method comprises following steps: step 1: labeling edges and gateway nodes between every two network modules; step 2: searching and storing a shortest path in each module, calculating nodes and edge betweenness by means of a traditional method, storing data and labeling nodes and edges passed by a shortest path between every two gateway nodes in each module; step 3: building an ISN of an interlayer subnet and searching and storing a shortest path between every two gateway nodes in the interlayer subnet; and step 4: according to the calculated and stored data of each module and the interlayer subnet, calculating betweennesses among nodes from different modules. Thus, calculation of the betweenness is simplified; betweenness calculation efficiency is increased; and calculation of the betweenness is precise.
