Embodiment Construction

[0017] The present invention will be described in further detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments, but not as a limitation of the present invention.

[0018] Such as figure 1 As shown, the method for a wireless terminal in an embodiment of the present invention to network through a fat AP includes the following steps:

[0019] Step s1: the wireless terminal requests an IP address from the DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) process of the fat AP;

[0020] Step s2: the DHCP process of the fat AP returns the wireless terminal IP address, and the DHCP process of the fat AP forwards the MAC (Media Access Control or Medium Access Control, Media Access Control) address of the wireless terminal to the access control process;

[0021] Step s3: The access control process of the fat AP judges whether the MAC address has been released, and if it is released, continue to release, and perform step s9: ...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for wireless terminal networking based on a fat AP and a method for wandering among the fat APs. The networking method comprises the step that a wireless terminal requests obtaining of an IP address from a DHCP process of the fat AP; the DHCP process of the fat AP returns the IP and forwards an MAC address of the wireless terminal to an access control process; the access control process inquires a Portal server whether the MAC address of the wireless terminal passes authentication, and the access control process releases the wireless terminal and the wireless terminal can be connected to the Internet if the authentication is completed; if the authentication is not completed, the wireless terminal is then oriented to the Portal server for the authentication; if the wireless terminal passes the authentication, the access control process of the fat AP releases the wireless terminal, and the wireless terminal can be connected to the Internet; and if the wireless terminal does not pass the authentication, the access control process cannot release the wireless terminal, and the wireless terminal cannot be connected to the Internet. After the same terminal passes the authentication of the previous fat AP, the state of a Portal cloud terminal can be changed to completion of the authentication; the terminal does not need to pass the authentication of the next fat AP; and the wireless terminal can be connected and get access to the Internet without informing a user.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of wireless communication, in particular to a method for a wireless terminal to roam among multiple fat APs with the same SSID. Background technique [0002] The application scenario of Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) is generally that after the user connects to Wi-Fi, a Portal interface requiring authentication pops up, and the user can access the Internet only after successful authentication on the Portal interface. AP (Access Point), that is, wireless access point, is an important part of a WLAN network. Its working mechanism is similar to a hub (HUB) in a wired network. Wireless terminals can transmit data between terminals through APs, or through The "WAN" port of the AP communicates with the wired network. Generally, the industry divides APs into fat APs and thin APs. There are two implementation architectures corresponding to WLAN, one is Ap + wireless access controller + Portal server architecture, wherei...
